Description
The Pen Duick was built in 1898 and was really successful in regata until the 1930s.
Pen Duick as a name is best known for a series of racing sea sailings by Frenchman Eric Tabarly. Tabarly’s father, Guy, named the 1898 Fife gaff he bought, under the name of a bird, the elatepaditsa, in British. He then used the name for a series of successful racing boats in the 1960s and 70s.
