Mies – Spiral Mesh


Το αρχιτεκτονικό πλέγμα Mies είναι ένα από τα πιο ιδανικά πλέγματα τόσο για εσωτερικές όσο και για εξωτερικές εφαρμογές. Το μικρό μέγεθος σπείρας επιτρέπει στον αρχιτέκτονα να δημιουργήσει πολλά σχήματα.

Είναι διαθέσιμο σε 2 τύπους:

  • Mies R – αυτό το αρχιτεκτονικό πλέγμα επιτρέπει την εγκατάσταση του ως κινητή κουρτίνα.
  • Mies F – σχεδιασμένο με επίπεδο τμήμα σύρματος, χάρη στον σχεδιασμό του επιτρέπει την εξισορρόπηση της αδιαφάνειας χωρίς να διακυβεύεται το βάρος του πλέγματος. Μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως κινητή κουρτίνα.

TF-10 FIXATION SYSTEM

The TF-10 fixation system can be used when the design calls for the flexible mesh to hang freely or drape. Alternating rods within the mesh are extended and welded form a loop. This loop can then facilitate a connection point like a round bar to hang from.

TF-20 FIXATION SYSTEM

Providing a means of tensioning the mesh, the TF-20 Fixation system utilizes a perforated at bar that matches the spiral wire pitch. The spiral mesh is linked to the flat bar and become one. Tensioners are then welded to the flat bar as a means of providing the tensile load. All materials are made form AISI316 stainless Steel material. A powder coated finish can be applied upon request.

TF-30 FIXATION SYSTEM

Providing a means of tensioning the mesh, the TF-30 mounting system uses a flat bar that is inserted inside the spirals at both the top and bottom horizontal edges. Holes are provided at equidistant spacing along the bar where a clevis and pin connect and provide the load. All materials are made from AISI 316. A powder coated finish can be applied upon request.

TF-35 FIXATION SYSTEM

The TF-35 fixation system is used when the mesh has angled top or bottom edges. Prior to cutting the sloped edge of the mesh, a metal profile is welded to the mesh and is then capped with a U-shaped trim profile. Holes within this edge treatment accept a clevis and pin as means for providing the load. All materials are made from AISI 316 stainless steel material. A powder coated finish can be applied upon request.

TF-40 FIXATION SYSTEM

The TF-40 fixation system is made of a heavy-duty galvanized rail with internal carriages that allow the draped flexible wire mesh to be loosely gathered together or fully expanded. Flexible mesh attaches to the carriages by a hook through a grommet at the top of the mesh. The hooks are available in 30 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm sizes. A curved configuration is possible with a minimum of a 2.5 m radius. The rail can be powder coated in a variety of colors, or shipped raw.

TF-45 FIXATION SYSTEM

The TF-45 fixation system, wraps the horizontal ends of the fine spiral mesh to form a sleeve where a rod can be inserted across the width. From this rod, threaded sockets are equally spaced and provide the load. All materials are made from AISI316 stainless steel material. A powder coated finish can be applied upon request.

TF-50 FIXATION SYSTEM

Perimeter frame consisting of flat bars based on the model of the mesh and requirements of the project, screwed or welded together. This system will require a second fastening of the frame to a substructure (not included). All parts are made of AISI 316 material. The TF-50 fixation system is applicable to any mesh patterns.

TF-60 FIXATION SYSTEM

Providing a means of tensioning the mesh, TF-60 Fixation system uses a rod that is inserted inside the spirals as well as equally spaced eyebolts at both the top and bottom horizontal edges. The eyebolts are therefore connected to the rod that is captured within the spiral and provides the means for applying load. All materials are made from AISI 316 stainless steel material. A powder coated finish can be applied upon request.

TF-80 FIXATION SYSTEM

The TF-80 fixation system is comprised of straight profiles at set intervals with rotating hooks that attach to a carriage inside of a heavy-duty zinc galvanized rail. This system allows the flexible mesh to collapse and condense in a uniform arrangement satisfying many aesthetic and functional needs. The rail and straight profiles can be powder coated in a variety of colors, or shipped raw.

Due to its high corrosion-resistance even in highly acidic environments, we mainly work with AISI 316L stainless steel. We also offer anodized aluminium, an electrochemical process which, in addition to coloring the mesh, applies a protective oxide layer that forms a barrier against moisture and corrosion. Metal mesh made of this kind of material makes an extremely durable product.  Maintenance requirements are also minimal.

Sustainability
They are even environmentally-friendly due to the fact that the average recycling rate of stainless steel is 60 to 70% and the material can be fully recycled at the end of the product’s lifetime. The recycling rate in the case of copper is 100%.

Low maintenance
Once assembled, steel mesh facade cladding requires little or no maintenance. Performing a visual inspection every two years is recommended to verify that the eye-screws, washers and nuts of the fastening system are in good condition. The mesh can be cleaned by simply washing with neutral soap and water.
